MEET STRELITZIA IRD OF PARADISE! Strelitzia nicolai, commonly known as the giant white bird of paradise or wild banana, is a species of banana-like plants with erect woody stems reaching a height of 6 m and the clumps formed can spread as far as 3.5 m.
LOOK AT THIS LEAF TEXTURE! Most often, Bird of Paradise will not produce flowers indoors. Only in their natural habitat of high humidity and high light conditions will the circumstances be right for them to flower.
WHITE BIRD OF PARADISE! Bird of Paradise love lots of bright indirect light, and some direct light too. In proper lighting conditions, the Bird of Paradise drinks plenty of water. Although it does require a drying out period and is susceptible to root rot if the soil remains overly moist.
