FIT TIPS FROM CAROLE

The Step-N-Go style harness is not adjustable so we really fit by the weights of the dogs. Its fairly accurate – and when choosing the size – you want to look first at the size closest to your pet’s weight more so than the girth measurement. However, (and there’s always an however!) its not a perfect science and like human apparel – different brands and different fabrics do fit differently. So even if your pet weighs 12 lbs and you’re looking at the size XS – but he only has a 14″ girth (the chest measured at the widest part) cuz hes really skinny and tall – XXS may just be the correct size. You want the hook n loop tabs to completely overlap and the 2 DRings to line up so you can clip them together with the leash. After doing so – you should be able to easily put your fingers under the harness and have enough room. You want it to fit snug but not tight!
