Measure the dog’s girth at approximately 1.5” to 2” behind the front legs. It should be a loose measurement, allowing for a little movement. Then refer to the chart for the appropriate size.

MEASURE ACCURATELY FOR PROPER FIT. Using a soft tailor’s tape, measure the dog’s girth at approximately 2” behind the front legs which is usually the deepest part of the chest. If you don’t have access to a tailor’s tape, you can use a piece of string or ribbon and then measure that against a standard tape measure or yard stick and refer to the size chart for proper fit. The chest strap is proportional so if you are between sizes it is usually better to opt for the smaller size option
