Use the shock mode only as a last resort.The collar has 0-99 levels, and high levels should be used with caution.Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 8 hours a day, and reposition the collar every 1 to 2 hours.If the dog’s neck hair is too long, it might prevent the receiver from making full contact with the skin. Trimming the hair in this area is recommended.
