Maintaining a chicken coop is easy when you use Fresh Coop Odour Control

Deep Litter Method:

This method, instead of removing soiled bedding weekly, allows the bedding/litter to decompose inside the coop. After a deep clean, add 4” of shavings then sprinkle a light layer of Fresh Coop Odour Control on the shavings. Every week use a pitch fork and turn the bedding, continue to add shavings weekly. Use a thin layer of Fresh Coop Odour Control when adding new straw or pine shavings (bedding). Once or twice a year, perform a deep

clean on your coop.

Deep-Cleaning:

Remove all shavings, manure and feathers. Wash floors and walls with equal parts of water and vinegar. Use a hose if possible. Completely dry coop. Add fresh bedding, sprinkle a light layer of Fresh Coop Odour Control on the bedding. For daily maintenance sprinkle Fresh Coop Odour Control on wet areas while removing droppings and soiled litter. Replace bedding as needed until your Deep Litter Method: next deep-clean.
