To ensure quiet operation of your pump

You must rinse off all surfaces of your fountain, including the stones(if provided with your model)before using at the first time. Any dirt and residue which remains on the fountain surface may obstruct the water flow through your pump, thereby causing unnecessary noise.

If the pump noise become louder and louder, please disassemble it, flush parts with water to remove particles, wipe dry and reassemble. Normally, the pump noise will disappear by the method.

Please note that there are 2 variables directly contributing to the noise level of the pump

Fountain must be refilled daily. Each day, 30% of the water will be evaporated. If the fountain is not refilled on a daily basis, the pump will not only become noisier, but also break down prematurely.

The tabletop fountain must be cleaned and water exchanged weekly. Fountain water and the fountain base will accumulate microorganisms and some small dirty things with the time passing. The dirt continues to build and inevitably affects the performace longevity of the pumps. As the pump become clogged, the noise is getting louder and the performance level decreases
