Sizes For Most Cat and Dog Collars

Three sizes of rivet-on tags to fit your pet’s collar. All three sizes come with rivets that will secure them to most collars 1/8″ thick or less. See below for how to choose the right size for your collar.

Curved For a More Finished Look

Most Rivet-On tags are sold flat which can make your pet’s collar conform to an odd shape. We have a machine that gives our tags a gentle, even curve to match the natural shape of your pet’s collar.

It may not seem very significant but it is a good example of the small details that go into a high quality tag.

Available in Stainless Steel or Polished Brass

Our Rivet-On tags are available in Polished Brass as well as the Polished stainless steel. Also available is stainless steel with a dull, matte gray finish.

Choosing the Right Size for Your Collar

Small Size

Small measures 11/32″ wide by 1-9/16″ long. Up to 3 lines of engraving on size Small.

Fits great on 3/8″ wide cat or dog collars less than 1/8″ thick.

Medium Size

Medium measures 9/16″ wide by 1-3/4″ long. Up to 5 lines of engraving on size Medium.

Fits great on 5/8″ and 3/4″ wide dog collars less than 1/8″ thick.

Large Size

Large measures 7/8″ wide by 2-7/16″ long. Up to 5 lines of engraving on size Large.

Fits great on 1″ wide dog collars less than 1/8″ thick.

How to Attach Your Pet’s Rivet-On Tag

Punch two holes in your pet’s collar to match the holes on the tag. Place the tag on the collar and slide the included rivets through the matched up holes. Snap the rivet caps onto the rivets. Use a hammer to tap the cap until the rivet is crushed tightly against the tag and collar.

Included rivets will reach through a 1/8″ thick collar- most single-layer nylon collars. Most leather collars are too thick to use the included rivets. Your local hardware store may have longer rivets that will work.
