The Moong Bean alternatively known as the green gram, maash, or mung, is a plant species in the legume family. The mung bean is mainly cultivated in East Asia, Southeast Asia and Indian subcontinent. It is used as an ingredient in both savory and sweet dishes.

How to use Rani Organic Moong Whole:
They are generally eaten either whole (with or without skins) or as bean sprouts, either in raw, soaked or boiled form.Moong beans are used to make salads, soups, subzis, and other delicious dishes. The starch of moong beans is also extracted from them to make jellies and transparent/cellophane noodles.Always check after 15 minutes of cooking time, since some mung beans can cook really fast. Bring the mixture to a boil and cover and cook in low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes of time or until the beans is cooked enough and soft.
